If all of us do our duty and spare two days a month, can any goal be distant? It is our duty as citizens to come up with a fool proof process that ensures smooth governance and active/intelligent citizenry.

Social work is not a one time affair and it is not enough if one individual or few groups toil. Only when every citizen starts to think of the society as an extended family and becomes responsible to the country as to the family, we can prosper.

Owing to the fast paced world, can we afford to be so? Why not? We need to forego few myths.

Social work is not something that deprives us of our money, time and effort. It is a channel which makes better use of all of them for progress and provides each individual with a sense of pride and satisfaction. What goes around comes around. The positive vibes that we send across come back to us bringing love, peace and harmony.

Every person has the urge to serve the society. We have to provide them a platform to do so within their constraints and feasibility. Our proposal addresses this issue on making social work easy and enjoyable. We will give you a picture of what we can achieve if we sincerely commit ourselves two days a month for social work.

Proposal

1. Form as teams under each category: Education, Health, Corruption (RTI) and visiting organizations.
   
2. Each team consists of sub teams that take care of particular activity.
3. Each team consists of a Program Manager who maintains the details of all the volunteers in the team and their availability, assigns activities and allocates tasks to them.
4. These teams are operative for each area: Dilsukh Nagar, Himayat Nagar, SR Nagar etc.,
5. There would be teams at the city level in the same structure to co-ordinate with all the teams and see to that the work goes on.
6. We should be able to come up with a monthly calendar listing out activities planned in each area under each category. This will help interested people to join hands.
