Birds of Same Feathers

No matter in how many areas few people work, how many causes few groups work on, we cannot see a better tomorrow. Until and unless every citizen of this country spares time for the fellow citizens, society and the country as a whole, if possible, the world, we cannot achieve real progress.

If everyone of us understand the importance of us as individuals and the importance of our contribution and visualize the positive difference that one can bring to the society at large, we will change. The effort of likeminded groups forum is to bring that realization in everyone of us. To bring us out of our own little worlds and to help us to shed our inhibitions, doubts and questions.

No matter how busy we are, we can still manage time and it is the hightime we should realize that we should spare quality time for the society. Not for others but for our own selves.

Plan Of Action

The following are the activities that we want to do immediately.

  • To get volunteers for each teams.
  • Members interested to be in the RTI Team will get trained.
  • By next academic year, we should be ready with the profiles of children that need support and also with the organizations list.
  • Replicate the same model and start working in the places (Nellore, Vijayawada, Vizag etc.,) where we have considerable number of volunteers.

Concept

What is it that is required to see us as a civilized society and a corruption-free, pollution-free developed nation? How can we ensure that no single person comes under BPL? How can we ensure useful education and proper health care to our population?

Is that all seem to be a distant dream, something that govt. only can take care of? Fine. How can we ensure that the govt. takes care of this beautiful dream?

Motivation

Please go through the following article. We hope it motivates you all to come forward.

Top Ten Things to Think About If You Want to Change the World

By Michael Angier

Mahatma Gandhi believed that we must be the change we want to see in the world. This was well demonstrated when he helped India gain its independence. Gandhi was a revolutionary man, but he accomplished India's emergence as a nation without starting a revolution. In fact, he advocated no violence. One of the most powerful countries in the world yielded to the commitment of one man and the dream of millions.
